Herbert Charles Wardle passed away on July 16, 2016 in Boise, Idaho. He was born on " the fourth month, the six day of 1935" in Burley, Idaho. He was the third child of five to John and Cora Wardle. Herbert attended Eagle High School and married the love of his life, LeRonis Johnson in 1957. He worked for Albertson's, M&W Market and owned Herb's Food Town and B&R Brokerage.

After retirement Herbert and LeRonis moved to Cascade, Idaho. They eventually purchased a residence in Lake Havasu, Arizona and spent many years splitting their time between Cascade and Lake Havasu.

Herbert enjoyed being a member of the Cascade car club and driving his Corvair. He was an avid golfer and gardener. He was an experienced outdoorsman and loved fly fishing, shooting his guns and four-wheeling. Both Herbert and LeRonis enjoyed travelling with their fifth wheel and their many friends. They also spent many summers taking their four grandchildren on various camping trips.

Herbert is survived by his sisters Virginia Burlingame (Boise) and Cheri Doores (Emmett), son and daughter-in law Todd and Lynette Wardle (Boise), daughter and son in-law Terrie & Mark Koehler (Farr West, Utah.) He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Danielle (Hermiston, Oregon) & Justin Wardle (Boise) and Mitchell & Ali Koehler (Farr West, Utah.) He is preceded in death by his wife LeRonis Wardle, brother Lyle Wardle, sister Beverly Richardson and both his parents.

Herbert Wardle will be laid to rest on Saturday August 6th at 1:00 pm. The services will be held at the Long Valley Finnish Cemetery in Lake Fork, Idaho off of Farm to Market Road & Finnish Church Lane off of Highway 55. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the Finnish Church. There will be a reception following the services.
